Touching somebody’s hair, and having them turn into a frog? Definitely weird.
Simple, uninvolved, unintended accidental casual-contact sort of touch? I’d usually class that as “potentially awkward” rather than “weird” but it’s a pretty subjective call.
If the “tone-down-the-beauty” glamour is being created by her and only assisted by the glasses, they actually could be. If she’s distracted/smitten enough.
I am SO glad my chosen family understands that non-intimate contact — backrubs, hugs, and so on — isn’t something to get hung up about. Offering/accepting grooming behavior doesn’t have to imply more than friendliness.
Hiroshi expressed positive admiration for both Mindy and Barbara on their academic and hobby skills. He does not focus on their physical attributes and just talks to them like they were normal friends (which they are.) For her part, Mindy gets neither predatory, nor extremely skittish around him. All this despite the obvious fact that they are attracted both physically and on a combined mental and emotional levels.
