    Writing? Nahua didn’t do writing. They did rebus pictographs. Maya did writing.
    … unless someone did this in Latin script during the 1500s; there’s a lot of Nahua from the early Colonial era in Latin script.

    I sometimes wonder if Paul had intended for the story to become as paranormal heavy as it is, or if little Tepoz was just meant to be a funny little one-off character and things just snowballed from there.
