Perhaps a busty antique-store owner and her supermodel partner might have established a fund for deserving young paras that still has funds for at least one more grant this year?
Interesting. We’ll be pairing Astali whose life will appear like it was handed to her on a platter with Skylar who is having what appears to be the new normal university experience: Student loans, and the prospect of 5-6 figure debt on graduation that comes with them.
These days, when it’s taking students 25-40 years to pay back their absurdly large student loans, the ONLY people who should be considering college are those who can pay up front.
Consider working for 5 years and saving up the money in advance (while living at home on your parents’ dollar) then going to college at age 23. You’d come out with a degree AND no debt, and actually be in a good position to (once hired) look at living independently within your means then.
There are many scholarships and grants, but it takes work to find them. There are many, but the work to find them must be done. Libraries used to have reference books filled with listings. The internet could help but is full of scams. I used to work in the financial aid office of a university. Loans should be the last resort. And then there’s The Foundation Center.
She looks just like Atsali, except for the nose and teeth.
Cousins? Another siren?
Other side of Atsali’s heritage; Skylar is a succubus.
Pretty much everyone looks like everyone else, it’s just Paul‘s style
Still, I think Atsali would be easier to pick out in a crowd because of .. uhm …
Ah, a new character, and probably Atsali’s roommate, I’ll bet!
Where’s she going to get a loan?

Her roommate? “Not-dette.”
What’s a Skylar?
According to Paul her name is Skylar Faust and she is a Succubus. I don’t know if she is full or mixed.
“Skylar Faust” i got from the tags.
AH.
For a minute there I thought that that was the Drama Queen from the Flight Team. But she would have graduated the previous year.
No, she’s a polka-dotted-horned succubus who’s just as dorky as Atsali…
Potential rival for Dette? o_O
Skylar’s nose must have been running and got got away also.
Nah. It just decided not to have anything to do with her…
Maybe she’s training it to like being wherever it is put!

Or Atsali will look elswherw for college, and give Skylar her spot at Dragons Wall, so she can go to school near Wapsi Square.
Can’t happen.
Atsali is accepted at Dragons Wall jn a full-ride scholarship for the flight team; Skylar isn’t.
We don’t even know if succubi can fly at all.
That’s where Atsali gets her bat wings when she demons out.
Atsali is part Succubus, that’s where she gets her bat wings when she demons out.
True. I like her raptor wings better.
I’m visualising the dorm having four-girl two-bedroom suites.
They put Atsali, siren/incubus, Skylar, succubus, Girl Three, siren and Girl Four, victim in the suite…
Alas, so true this…Education of that caliber is JUST for the wealthy…
