I used to buy coffee sweets from the school shop. And my dad gave us kids sweet black coffee in the morning to get us up for school. Maybe that was just a malaysian thing…
They’re in Japan, they have coffee, *coffee*, and COFFEE in just about every vending machine and combini with no age restrictions. Some of them are very mild and sweet, some of them are good for treating cardiac arrest.
My grandfather used to give us “Kid Coffee” which was a half cup of coffee and a quarter cup of Milnot condensed milk. This was when I was 7 or so. My kids got the same deal. 🙂 Warm memories of getting up with him and having a cup of Kid Coffee with him before he went off to the coal mine.

I first tried coffee around age 6 or 7. I needed less sugar in it than one of my dad’s friends, but he used to go about half and half, as in half a cup of sugar cubes and pour coffee on top.
hmm, so either that was a ghost crushing on Scarlet that ran away with Timothy came in, some kind of future sight Timothy, a ghost pretending to be Timothy or … well any other guesses are as good as the rest I suppose. to Jeff Weiner I doubt if that was a real thing the other girls heard it, they might not have heard Scarlet talking either depending on what kind of conversation that was. ~<3
Maybe Scarlet is just a sensitive (possible unaware) and she was just relaxed enough at the moment to be in communication with her “friend”. Timothy speaking to her brought he back to Earth and broke the trance.
Well the EM field dropped with Scarlet’s concentration/focus/frustration with her friends. Congratulations Scarlet, you’re a medium who can interact with records that cause “ghosts”.
I see two possibilities.
1. She thougt Tim was speaking with her until he came with the coffee and is creeped out now
2. One reason she likes Tim so much is because she is more alone when Tim is around.
Okay, I guess that answers one thing – the ghost isn’t Timothy…

Last week I was guessing that they were related. Probably an elder brother, cousin, or uncle.

I don’t think Timothy is ever going to be that tall.
I think she thought she was talking to Tim. I think the ghost was messing with her. Not totally sure. Will know more… Next Time.

I did try coffee around that age . . . my dad’s coffee . . . which is why I don’t drink the nasty stuff.

Is it in Japan? We know the college that Atsali’s going to is, but this is a different school.
I assumed it was, I don’t know of any vending machines in the US that have cans of coffee.

Are we sure the EMF spike wasn’t from the innards of the vending machine? The detectors are very sensitive, so as to get lots of false positives.
