When a squid-face eldritch being feels an ominous chill run down her spine, you can probably infer that something a trifle disturbing is in the offing.
Just going to mention this here, because odds are, the readership might find this in their wheelhouse. The artist only does a few comics a year normally, and it’s been… a while. It’s OK, because he’s been working on an animation project (why does that sound familiar?). Anyhoo, the comic is a thirty (something)(ish) woman talking to her friend, a sphinx.
I can only speak for myself but – yes! Very much a fan of both Wapsi and Subnormality. I hadn’t been checking their site as it had been quite some time since their previous comic posting. THANK YOU for pointing out their latest upload.
I started to read it and well… stopped.
I would like to say it is a good comic, but I can’t.
I got maybe 8 pages in and quit.
Maybe someone else can do better.
Yeah, jeffepp should perhaps have warned that the bit about ‘Comics with too many words’ is meant absolutely seriously. Personally I don’t mind, but I can see how it’s probably not everybody’s cup of tea
Woohoo!! Early update!! Hope you are recovered from everything and all is well.
Good to see you, Paul!
And Val is really not your typical Lovecraftian horror from beyond space and time. Kinda adorable.

I found it interesting that the foreboding wasn’t about the latest impending End of the World, but that her weekend was going to be ruined.
For some people, same thing 😛
Welcome back. “Acedemic?”

Oh, be warned, these are not small screen friendly. And, by small, I mean under 20 inches.

Might help if you explained why you stopped…
HA! For a second, I saw the curvy figure, and thought Digit was Timothy
That’s hilarious! They *do* have the exact same hairstyle when viewed from that side…
Poor Valerie.
Exactly what I was thinking
