First question is, are they moving under their own power? It’s not clear here. If not, I’d consider whatever’s chasing Valerie to be the primary threat.
If those figures behind Cass are moving toward them under their own power, they’re the primary threat, because they’re closer, and whatever the other thing is has to get past Valerie and into the building to pose a threat.
And we don’t know where Bud is yet. If she’s around, anything trying to get to the kids will have to deal with her first.
She’s indestructible, and can fire plasma blasts. She is easily the MOST dangerous thing they can possibly find there.
