Ain’t that the truth. That’s why Money doesn’t come near me. It wants me to be “Somebody”. Damn money! I wanna be a nobody!

still, money is pretty damn useful when your life is defined by things like your computer, your car, electricity, and also your loving family which eats through two fridges in a weeks time.

“Money may not buy happiness… but it sure as hell takes the sting out of misery!”

I’ve always believed that “Those who say money can”t buy happiness, don’t know where to shop.” For me that would be anywhere that sells video games, books, or classic cars/parts.

Or as Ashleigh Brilliant put it (the Pot-Shots guy), “All I want is a chance to prove that money can’t make me happy.”

Weird Al reference earns you meaningless internet points from me.

Being somebody is overrated. I’d rather do something. Or several somethings. I’ve got stories for artists to make into comics, and design documents for programmers to turn into videogames, and I’m terrible to work with, so being able to pay them extravagantly would get me a lot further. . .

Actually there are many artists in different fields I’d like to be able to support and promote. If I was rich I’d make Patreon so much money. That’s pretty much it for me, unless we’re talking about the kind of money that could change the course of nations.

Aside from some great comforts of course. Does anyone need a nice self-supporting paid-for house somewhere quiet, a personal trainer, cook, cleaner, janitor, driver, accountant, what have you; garden, web server, tailored clothes, good furniture, five dogs? Not strictly speaking, no. But it’s likely to let you live to 80 or 90 instead of 50.

I’m with you. There is enjoying, say, eating and being warm. And then there is living and contributing something to the world, which matters so much in the long run.

It wouldn’t be any fun with too much money.
Now I’m having too much fun.
